Debbie Monetti, Co-owner

Debbie grew up in Skagit Valley and in this business. She worked in sales and design for twelve years before she bought out her fathers portion of the business in 2003. She is very proud to carry on her fathers legacy of building a successful business and serving the local community. Debbie's passions is all about "people" and it shows in everything she does. She is extremely grateful for her family, her community and the loyal employees and customers she serves.

Lisa Newman, Co-owner

Lisa was born and raised in Mount Vernon and has been with our store since 1986. She has used her innate organizational skills and her extensive experience to effectively and efficiently manage every facet of the operation. She believes we have a responsibility to our founders, our community, our employees and our customers to always do our very best. In Lisa’s eyes, “This is more than a business…it’s our life, our family and our legacy”.

John Lopez, General Manager

We fondly refer to John as “Our Company Coach.” John has been in the industry and with our company since 1996. He basically grew up here, starting in the warehouse and now serving as our General Manager. John has his fingers in every facet of the business. His steadfast commitment to the Mount Vernon Carpet One Team and his unyielding passion for serving our customers, employees and business partners in the very best way possible shines through in all that he does.

Dotty Jevons, Design Consultant

Dotty has a huge heart for people. Blend that with her vast experience, tremendous knowledge and trustworthy nature and it’s no wonder that her customers keep coming back. Dotty is a trusted educator. She consistently goes the extra mile to make sure her customers understand the best products for their needs as well as the best way to do things and why.

Tanya Arnone, Design Consultant

When you hear laughter in the showroom, you can bet Tanya is at the center of it. Her lighthearted spirit and friendly personality are an added bonus for her loyal customers that keep coming back. Tanya has been in the industry for 15 years. She blends valuable experience, extensive expertise and a contagious sense of laughter and fun into all of her designs and all of her relationships. Tanya has a tremendous heart for her family, her pets and her customers.

Kristin Billings, Design Consultant

Kristin may be soft spoken but she isn't afraid to tell you what she knows! With over 18 years specializing in flooring and window fashions she has both the knowledge and the know how to confidently lead her customers to their best results. That’s why her customers keep coming back year after year for her valued expertise and beautiful designs. Kristin has spent her life in the valley serving her friends, her family and her community.

Beth Bell, Design Consultant

Beth has a degree in design and color and has been in the industry since 2003. She possesses vast experience and expertise and sincerely enjoys sharing her comprehensive technical knowledge along with her outstanding design abilities with others. Beth is a loyal resident of Anacortes, embracing her community and love of the water with her work in and around the waterfront. She serves her customers with the same passion she has for sailing.

Alissa Dyer, Interior Designer

Alissa, a proud graduate of design school and a native of our valley has been creating beautiful and functional designs since 2003. Alissa is known by many as the talented, capable and competent girl who gets the job done right. Alissa’s focus for many years has been in new home construction and on extensive remodels. She has an amazing ability to create beautiful designs while proficiently managing the many details important to our customers and builders.

Larry Henderson, Commercial Sales

Larry has been in the industry since 1989--that's over 3 decades! His extensive experience has earned him the reputation as the “go to” guy for all commercial and builder-related questions. If Larry doesn't know the best answer to a question, he is committed to finding out. Larry is one of the few sales professionals who has served as a licensed flooring contractor and an IICRC certified expert in re-installation, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, water damage and carpet dyeing.

Amanda Hansen, Design Consultant

Amanda is our resident Millenial and is always on top the latest trends! Amanda started out her journey at MVCO in the operations division, learning the ins and outs of the industry. As soon as an opportunity arose, Amanda became certified as a Design Consultant and has been living out her passion since -- working alongside people to make their home dreams come true!

Cecil Jevons, Cabinet Designer

Cecil, while a comic at heart, takes his cabinet designs very seriously. Born and raised in this community, Cecil has an extensive following of friends and fans. Cecil has spent over a decade in the cabinet business inspiring homeowners and creating beautiful designs even working under budget constraints. Always considering the personality, style and budget of his customer, Cecil loves the challenge of transforming his customer's vision into reality.

Cathy Boysen, Interior Designer

Welcome our newest designer, Cathy! She went to school for and has been working in Interior Design for over 25 years. Cathy is an IIDA Associate and a LEED Green Associate and has a passion for creating beautiful, balanced spaces. Cathy can assist homeowners with more than just material selections - she can help with decorative lighting and plumbing, furniture suggestions, layouts and more!
